The Art of Home Buying and Selling
As a trained artist, I look at my life as an ongoing work of art. Everything I have done until now has led me to my current colorful canvas as wife, mom, active community member, realtor, and business owner. Real Estate is my life’s work. I love what I do. I am passionate about home ownership: not paying someone else’s mortgage and building wealth through real estate.
I am a realtor because, well, to be honest, my mom told me I should. If you knew my mom, you’d understand that she had some serious wisdom and she called things like she saw them. She could see that, in addition to my “gift of gab,” I love homes and have a knack for finding the perfect homes for people. During my years as a closer in the title industry in Chicago and Steamboat, I worked with lots of realtors. I could see they were good at what they did, but I knew I could bring more. So, in 2010, when I finally listened to my mom and jumped into the world of real estate buying and selling, I brought with me all my knowledge, my artistic sense, and my willingness to work hard and go above and beyond. I really care about the people I work with. I love what I do. I love showing homes, buying homes, and helping people build wealth through real estate.
I work in places I know. I know Boulder and Broomfield counties. My home, business, and real estate investments are here. My children attend school here. I am an active community volunteer on the boards of Arts Lafayette and Alley Art Amazin’. I am a member and past chair of Lafayette Old Town Association and past chair of Lafayette Cultural Arts Commission and Lafayette Public Art Committee. This benefits clients because I have insight into the neighborhoods, the schools, and the special qualities of each community.
I believe that real estate transactions are like works of art in that success is achieved through years of preparation and study, willingness to see things through to the end, and often a little bit of magic. I offer my clients my years of experience, my knowledge of community, my willingness to listen and to tell it like it is, my honesty and integrity, and a willingness to invite in that magic to make the perfect deal.
